Easy to Make Lasagna

  1. 1 lb. beef (ground)
  2. 3 cups spaghetti sauce
  3. 1 1/2 cups water
  4. 1 3/4 cups ricotta (or cottage cheese)
  5. 2 cups mozzarella (shredded)
  6. 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  7. 2 eggs
  8. 1/4 cup fresh parsley (chopped; or 1 tbsp. dried parsley)
  9. 1/2 tsp. salt
  10. 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
  11. 9 pieces lasagna noodles (cooked)
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a 3-quart saucepan over medium-high heat, brown the beef then drain. Add spaghetti sauce and water, simmer around 10 minutes.
  2. While sauce simmers, in a medium bowl, stir together ricotta cheese, one-half mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, eggs, parsley, salt and pepper.
  3. Pour about 1 cup sauce on bottom of 13x9 inch baking dish. Arrange 3 uncooked pasta pieces lengthwise over sauce; cover with 1 cup sauce. Spread one-half cheese filling over sauce. Repeat layers of lasagna, sauce and cheese filling. Top with layer of lasagna and remaining sauce; sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Cover with foil. Bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil; bake additional 10 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
  4. Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting. Serve and enjoy!
