Miniswahang Sardinas (Sardines with Misua)

Ingredients Needed:

2 small can of sardines (with tomato sauce)

4 ounces of misua (very thin Chinese noodles made with wheat flour)

1 head garlic minced

2 cups of water

2 pcs of onion sliced

Salt and ground pepper to taste

Cooking oil for sautéing

Directions:

In a pan, heat the oil. Sauté the garlic and onion, add the sardines. Simmer for 3 to 5 minutes in a low heat. Add water and let it boil. Put salt and ground pepper to taste. Add the misua and let it cook for 3 to 5 minutes until it tender. Carefully mix. Remove from heat and place into a serving plate. Garnish with crushed chicharon or cracklings. Serve the miniswahang sardinas while it’s hot and enjoy!
