Pritong Hipon (Fried Shrimp)

Ingredients Needed:

½ kilo of shrimp (remove shell and head)

1 tbsp of garlic powder

1 tsp of ground pepper

1 tsp of salt

1 cup of all purpose flour

½ cup of oats or bread crumbs

3 cups of cooking oil

3 pcs egg beaten

Direction:

Put the cleaned shrimp in a bowl. Marinate with garlic powder, ground pepper, and salt for an hour. Set aside.

In separate bowl, mix the all purpose flour and the beaten egg. Stir until the texture thickens. Set aside.

Put the oats or bread crumbs on a flat plate.

After marinating, dip the shrimp and coat with the batter. Roll on the oats. Set aside.

Heat the oil in a frying pan. Deep fry the coated shrimp until it turns golden brown. Drain in paper wax. Serve the fried shrimp with sweet and sour ketchup and enjoy!
