...  Needed: 1 kilo beef ribs or buto-buto 1 bundle Chinese cabbage 3 pcs potatoes quartered 3 pcs whole sweet corn cut into 2 to 3 pcs 1 tsp whole pepper corn 2 onions sliced 1 pc beef broth cubes 8 cups of water 3 tbsp fish sauce Directions: In a casserole, boil the beef ribs for 25 to 30 minutes or until it tenders, remove the scum. Use pressure cooker to save time. Add the pepper corn and onion. Put in the broth cubes and simmer. Add the sweet corn and boil for 5 to 8 minutes. ...  Needed: 1 kilo sugpo or fresh shrimp 2 tbsp of cooking oil 1 head garlic minced 1 onion minced 1 thumb ginger minced 1 cup sprite soda ½ cup tomato sauce 2 tbsp soy sauce 2 tbsp peppercorn 5 pcs red chili pepper sliced Directions: Saute the garlic, ginger and onion in cooking oil until it turns to light brown. Add shrimp; simmer for 2 to 3 minutes. Pour the sprite soda and let it boil. Put in the tomato sauce and soy sauce, stir carefully. Add the pepper corn and red chili pepper. ...  Needed: ½ kilo pata or pig’s leg (sliced crosswise) 3 pcs bay leaf 1 head garlic chopped 1 tsp whole pepper corn ¼ cup brown sugar ½ cup soy sauce ¼ cup vinegar 2 packs banana blossoms (soaked in water) Water for boiling Salt to taste Directions: Boil the pig’s leg until the meat is tender. Use pressure cooker to save time. In a pan, transfer the boiled pig’s leg. Put in the bay leaf and whole pepper corn. Boil for 10 to 15 minutes until a little water is left. Add the garlic and vinegar. Simmer for 3 to 5 minutes. Pour in the soy sauce and combine the brown sugar, mix. Put in the banana blossoms and let it boil until it thickens. Add salt to taste.
