... Needed:
½ kilo pork belly, cut into bite size
5 pcs string beans cut into two inches long
1 cup squash cubed
4 pcs okra sliced
1 pc of medium bitter melon sliced
2 pcs eggplant sliced
5 cloves garlic minced
2 pcs onions sliced
2 pcs tomatoes sliced
5 tbsp cooked shrimp paste (bagoong)
1 cup water
2 tbsp cooking oil
1 cup of tomato ketchup or tomato paste
1 pack of pork rind (chitcharon)
Salt and ground pepper to taste
Directions:
Saute garlic, onion and tomatoes. Put in the pork belly and stir fry until cooked. Add the shrimp paste and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes. Put in the okra, squash, eggplant and bitter melon; simmer for 3 to 5 minutes over a low heat. Pour the water and let it boil. Add the string beans and put in the tomato ketchup, carefully mix all the ingredients. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cover and simmer for another 3 ...

Ingredients Needed:
½ any fresh fish, fried
¼ kilo squash cut into cubes
1 bundle okra or lady finger sliced
1 bundle of string beans sliced
1 pc small bitter melon sliced
1 pc of egg plant sliced
1 cup of malunggay (moringa) leaves
2 onions sliced
2 pcs tomatoes, sliced
3 tbsp of patis or fish sauce
2 to 3 cups water
1 pc fish broth cube
Salt to taste
Directions:
In a casserole, boil water with onion and tomatoes. Add the squash, okra, bitter melon and string beans. Simmer for a minute. Put in the egg plant and add the fish broth cube. Boil for 2 to 3 minutes. To add more taste, add fish sauce and salt. Put in the malunggay leaves and the fried fish. Simmer for a while. Remove from heat. Best serve while it’s hot.

Ingredients Needed:
1 kilo fresh tilapia or any fish cut into serving pieces
5 pcs banana plantain chopped into 2 pieces each
3 pcs potato quartered sliced
1 bundle of pechay or bok choy cleaned
2 onions sliced
2 tomatoes sliced
1 thumb size ginger sliced
¼ tsp of peppercorn
½ tsp of salt
5 to 8 cups water (depends on your preference)
Directions:
In a casserole, boil the water together with ginger, onion and tomatoes for 3 to 5 minutes. Add the potato and banana plantain. Simmer for another 2 to 3 minutes. Put in the fish. Let it boil for a while. Add the peppercorn and salt to taste. Put in the bok choy, cover and simmer for a minute. Don’t overcook the fish. Remove from heat.
Best served while it’s hot. Share and enjoy!
