Indian Vegetarian Curry with Paneer and Peas

...  is a very satisfying vegetarian Indian curry dish made with a tomato cream base, paneer and peas. If you’re not familiar with paneer, it’s a rennet-free cheese product that is popular in South Asian cooking. While it is technically a cheese, it has the texture of tofu. It also absorbs the flavors of what it’s cooked in, much like tofu. This curry recipe is is quite easy to make and can be on your plate in about 30 minutes. ...  you are like me, you probably cannot resist fried spring rolls. Who doesn’t love a little spring roll with plum sauce? You don’t need to order Chinese takeout to enjoy this crispy delight. Just follow this fried spring roll recipe and enjoy. This easy recipe uses very simple ingredients, but you can add meat or shrimp if you prefer. Ingredients Needed: 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 2 shredded carrots 1 ½ cups finely diced onion 2 cups chopped bean sprouts 8 rice papers 1 egg Vegetable oil for deep frying  This recipe makes 8 spring rolls. Directions: Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and carrots and sauté until tender. Add the chopped bean sprouts and keep cooking to desired tenderness. Chow mein is a very versatile recipe and you can even substitute or add veggies if you prefer. This recipe makes about 8 side dish servings. Ingredients Needed: 1 – 14 oz package of chow mein noodles 1 tablespoon soy sauce soy sauce 3 tablespoons fish sauce 1/2 tbsp sesame oil 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 1 julienned carrot 1 teaspoon crushed ginger 1 teaspoon crushed garlic 1 cup coarsely chopped bean sprouts Cooking Procedure: Start by preparing the noodles, according to the package directions. Rinse and set aside. While the noodles are cooking, you can prepare your sauce. Combine the soy sauce, fish sauce and sesame oil in a bowl and set aside. Here is my recipe on how to make your own delicious sponge cake from scratch. This sponge cake recipe makes about one 9” cake. Ingredients Needed: ¾ cup sugar 6 large eggs – separate the eggs from the yolks 2 teaspoons vanilla 1 cup flour 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 2 tablespoons milk You will also need to 1 tablespoon of water and 2 tablespoons of sugar to make a syrup you will brush on the cake after it has cooled. Directions: Preheat oven to 325 F. Grease and flour a 9” cake pan. Using a spingform pan makes it much easier to remove your cake easily for cooling, but we’ve used a regular cake pan in our example.
