... Needed:
2 kilos ube or purple yam (cooked in boiling water)
½ cup margarine/butter (if you want your jam to be creamy, use butter instead)
1 can evaporated milk (big)
1 can condensed milk (big)
3 cups white sugar
Desiccated coconut
Directions:
In a pot, boil the ube or purple yam until tender. Remove from heat and let it cool. Peel it.
In a big bowl, mash the ube using a fork or for a smoother texture you can use a blender or a food processor. Set aside.

... there anything better than a warm chewy chocolate chip cookie? This recipe is adapted from the original recipe you’ll find on the back of any bag of Chipits, but with less sugar. I also use margarine, instead of the optional butter because it produces the chewiest results. This chocolate chip cookie recipe is an oldie, but a goodie.
Ingredients Needed:
• 1 cup margarine
• 1 cup packed brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1/4 cup white sugar
• 2 cups flour (you can easily use whole wheat in this recipe with the same great results)
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 1 cup walnuts, broken into small pieces

Preheat oven to 375F.
